The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. "The whole world is watching."剪辑和节奏太棒了，对揉杂私人恩怨体制的无情讽刺。特别是发现曾经的"队友"实际上是伪装的政府人员，在原告席位作证，讽刺说可能游行队伍的一万人都是便衣警察。
这种片我觉得商业元素很足，冲突、快节奏、背景丰富、反讽黑色幽默，毫无困意看完2小时长篇，题材还是这种历史政治事件。

法律是神圣的，并非其生而神圣，而是因为在制定与解读法律的过程中，会体现出人性中神圣的一面。

众星云集飙戏飙得舒畅爆了，摄影和剪辑把这个老套的真实故事又玩出了一些新意，虽然最后还是主旋律了一把lol，片长限制每个角色只能在有限的时间里刻画所以都不太深刻，反映出的时代，台词我都很喜欢，总体上呈。

叙事技巧高超，但内容还是脸谱化的政治正确。
7.6/10 #2020观影补标 即便酣畅淋漓，但是归根结底这种倾向性是高度危险的，即便它甚至与我的个人观点相符合，因为我们深知它在“服务”于什么，且力图“刺激”什么，所以本质上这类影片和单调重复的肾上激素性商业类型片并无二，只是在用另一种催化剂而已。
最后在法庭上读出阵亡军人名字的场面相当震撼，眼泪夺眶而出。

够左，对立冲突制造到位，虽然结尾挺煽情，但看得荡气回肠，喜欢剪辑和节奏，何况还都是钟意的演员

这是典型的好莱坞年度左翼电影。这几年几乎每年都有这样一部左翼政治理念的电影，例如聚焦、华盛顿邮报。拍摄手法都是纪实冷峻、都是大牌云集，明显不为了票房就冲着各类奖项的政治宣言，像是一个每年必做的功课。
歷史的最大作用就是給人警醒，可惜人們擅長遺忘

其实能够欣赏到这样的故事无非也是历史上“它”被翻身了，那些被管控，恶意压制的故事我们却一直没法看到。希望那些实施犯罪又暂时逃之夭夭的人终有恶报。

好久没有看到这么节奏紧凑的剧情片了，开头短短几分钟交代故事背景，剪辑衔接得也十分自然流畅，还不时穿插一些小幽默。
