The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 其实全片没有太多戏剧化的故事情节，也没有什么蜿蜒曲折的悬念故事，更多的是通过一种缓缓流淌的方式去讲述战争时代的那种整体大氛围。
就算作为流水账都太难看了。两个半小时拍新选组的历史，怎么可能拍得清楚。04年大河剧版帮追完一年的观众回顾剧情的总集篇都比这个长。只拍池田屋或者箱馆战争不好吗。

我只想说这片摄影和整体美术吊打影吧。。。。整体还行，只是战争片感觉我老是看不出来是谁😂
这样的美术了不起 个别几个镜头还不错 雾中的伏线 。如果有个好故事…

很喜欢很喜欢很喜欢，可以感受到主创团队的用心和真诚！
确实如导演所说是一部“两边都不讨好”的电影
行云流般的长镜头让人沉浸感十足，明明是残酷的战争，却被赋予了诗情画意般的意境，战争片的另一种打开方式。

就池田屋一段有点诚意，其他是加了爱情佐料的土方岁三流水账，很多新选组的大事件就是一句话带过。
最后的画面，血雨洒下来，音乐响起，挺进师的阵亡名单出来，看的人很震撼。
居安思危是永恒不变的真理，和平年代也需要我们传承和发扬革命精神。
看到天降血雨的时候隐忍已久的眼泪夺眶而出，流也流不尽的血红色可不就是那些牺牲在战场上的英雄们的缩影么…
这是一部残酷而极富诗意的电影，残酷是来源于战争本身，而诗意则来自于制作团队绝高的审美。
