The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 女机长超酷那段solo讲自己如何在1986成为全美第一个女机长的时候 眼里就有星星
形式太有意思了，音乐剧真的拥有无限张力，安慰生活在2020年以后的我，那首Prayer太震撼了，Me and the sky机长好帅气。
作为音乐剧倒是没有给我印象特别深的歌曲（机长姐姐的Me and the sky好听！），剧情也比较一般，主要是当年的真实事件很令人感动。在灾难面前，人们确实没办法忍受一直看新闻，而是会想在自己有资源的时候互相帮助，这是不分种族性向甚至动物权益的（穆斯林在那之后确实备受影响）。
爱与共情，可赞的人类。像这样优秀的音乐剧可以多来点。

Watched on Apple TV+. Joyful with tears, a true representation of cosmopolitanism
形式惊人，转场等各种充满想象力。分扣在歌曲并没有特别抓耳。
北美人民真的好富裕好乐观。动人的旋律始终是百老汇成功的前提条件啊，滚去循环ost。
能支持人坚持，继续下去的，一定是关怀，各方面都很优秀的一部作品

除此之外，剧本本身对911事件给美国社会心理带来的各方面影响的刻画也是相对比较到位的。
在演出又被疫情取消的晚上看完了2020年因为疫情被取消的CFA。我真的太久没看过global视角+充满diversity的引进剧了…泪点很多，最戳我心的还是Me and the Sky。
人文关怀满分！就是旋律不太抓耳，欠那么点儿意思。
