The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 一群在好莱坞混迹很久的，依然没有典型作品的，为了赚钱不得不拍的网大电影。几乎看不到可取之处，如果真要说有什么，只能说有一点讽刺当前的好莱坞虚伪吧。

很无厘头，笑点是逐渐密集，一堆大牌在片子里抽风。最搞笑的就是集体嗑药那段儿，客串的明星也非常多，梗也非常多。喜欢凯伦吉兰，测核酸那里巨逗。
疫情杀死了绝大多数人的幽默感，但确实也没必要把所有电影都拍成2个小时以上。
