The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 很多观众会把这部影片和《中国医生》做比较。对《中国医生》差评的较多，这也是意料之内的。首先，这两部影片呈现形式上不能说对与错，只是国家意识形态不同。影片中的国家（或者说该影片）强调的是个人在灾害面前的反应，国家中的个体与政府有种“对抗”的关系。而《中国医生》是以国家层面宏观叙事了。直观的感受是影片《援助》完整讲了一个故事，《中国医生》像一些琐碎的情节拼凑而成。《中国医生》的制片人和导演肯定明白这部影片的水平，但在当下，只能那么拍。

是我看过这么多电影中，虚焦用得最多也是最好的一部。中间那个长镜头，也看得人揪心。

电影多少有点被利用的感觉 在这部片子里面 用来发声 也算是电影的功能之一吧 只是过于直白了点。
