The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 看的时候以为会是个高分电影，看完之后都不想给分了，光镜头好没用，镜头要和情节相匹配才算好，这题材搞这么魔幻就很奇怪。两星半

#HIIFF03# 3.5，虽说题材先行，可是里面的长镜头，尤其是在狭窄的房间里的调度，还有结尾的超现实部分都拍得很动人。看一半的时候在想，《爱 Amour》里面对阿尔兹海默症保留体面的爱更高级，最后导演也保留了一种类似的方式～

建议把超过20分钟的预算真的拿去灾后重建，这种程度的剧情做一个完整的mv都嫌勉强了。

花了三块钱买buff叠加，结果看到buff们笑嘻嘻地说：恰饭嘛，不寒碜～美人鱼故事+立体机动装置+精美画面，一定是对标了新海诚！
叙事节奏和人物动机有瑕疵。但画面很美，配乐一流，惊艳于泽野能把同一个旋律做的既治愈又让人不安；情感渲染力很强，估计是霸权社传统艺能吧。总体中等，没有拉胯，也没有达到符合它制作阵容的预想高度，总有一种是半成品的缺失感，挺可惜的。
