The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 电影故事性强，引人入胜，明知结局一定是励志的，可还是会被过程感动。
当然缺点也很明显，三个导演的拍片风格有点互相抢的意思，能看出些许的割裂感，有些特效场面不知道是什么原因充满了塑料感，但是总的来说，这已经是中国电影工业目前能拍出来的最好的战争片了，强烈推荐电影院里观看，能看IMAX版本的就更好了。
