The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 核心还是对于科技高速发展，人工智能科技的探讨，用偏荒诞喜剧的形式去呈现。整体创作偏随意，是热内导演的一部平庸之作。
挺有意思的，科幻喜剧小品，稍显冗长，再短点就更好了。如果你愿意，可以不必去思考科技与人工智能对未来社会及人类的干预，轻松简单看看电影也不错

机器人因为庄生晓梦迷蝴蝶，渴望化作人类，下载很多程序逐步地更新，变得幽默。喜欢法国的喜剧，智能的幽默。最后的舞蹈好好看。
奇特的电影，虽然看起来很夸张，但是都是能想见的未来，离我们并不遥远，心底产生莫名的恐惧。故事很独特，非一般科幻片推荐一看。

正反两方，优劣势的反转也来得太猝不及防了吧。开始，从舆论到民情再到司法，都占尽优势，对于怎么棍棒底下生转折的交代，也实在太不充分，可片子却又能在努力营建却不至于有信服力的阴霾氛围中，冗长拖至160分钟。
典型的日影，风景真的蛮美的，特别是航拍大海的几个镜头，节奏很慢，剧情也很无聊，但对明亮色调的画面毫无抵抗力。
