brutashell review - 'Filmed in black and white and primarily spoken in German, it is obvious that Die Farbe did not have a huge budget to work with. Effects are minimal and the cast is utterly unknown. I should point out that these are all good things, and work very much in the film's favour. There is no CGI to rely on, no name actors to carry it. Rather, the filmmakers do the unthinkable: they create a genuine atmosphere of unimaginable dread and unspeakable horror, using shadow, suggestion and rare splashes of that Nameless colour in a few select frames. In short, they did a damn good job. Die Farbe is subtle in its mounting horror, nurturing a dark dread deep in your bowels with every shot. All of the best and most stomach-turningly distressing films I’ve ever seen have come out of Germany: M, The Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari, The White Ribbon, and now this one. Leave it to the Germans. We know how to gross you out on the deepest psychological levels.
Lovecraft worshippers and devotees of German Expressionism alike, take heed: seek out and view this film at your earliest possible convenience. 看到好多音乐剧大佬的客串。剪辑很好，音乐的表现力也挺有想法。加菲真的能唱，有点意外。
Sunday，游泳池的五线谱，体育场的独唱……让人印象深刻。倒数计时，坚持热爱，去写自己熟悉的生活。
如果你喜欢broadway音乐剧，或者了解Jonathan Larson本人，或许会喜欢本片。但是作为不看音乐剧的人，这片子最大的问题就是太不像电影，导演太自我陶醉于致敬和缅怀，而没能讲好故事，两个时空（tick tick…boom音乐剧时空，和回忆中创作superbia的时空）观感上撕裂太严重，用来填充歌曲的画面也不够紧凑和好看，甚至歌曲都没能好听到让人记得几首。看完只能让人觉得男主角是another struggling artist in New York，纽约有太多太多这样的人了。PS，加菲演的没问题，歌喉也不错，但是现在吹的那么凶的拿奥斯卡男主肯定是没希望的。
原来美国人也会为了30岁这道坎而焦虑，在哪都逃不掉的30岁。。。暴风女好看死了，笑容好暖好治愈～评论里这么多种族歧视的省省吧，天天把zzzq挂嘴边喷黑人演员烦不烦。
本片是林-曼努尔·米兰达的导演处女作，可以看做是不那么浪漫的《爱乐之城》。

就是说…没想到美国人的年龄焦虑也这么严重…很喜欢加菲，也喜欢他演绎的这个孩子气神经质的天才作曲家，Vanessa真的是天籁之音。但是可能是因为是传记电影的原因，故事上弱一些。有梦想的人，内心永远幸福闪亮//一定要比的话，我还是更喜欢lalaland，但我还是觉得早晚有座小金人是加菲的。
有几首歌还是挺好听。然而还是那些错过的恋人，让人焦虑吧的时光流逝，青春不再，事业未半，除此似乎也无它。在歌声里，自由与梦想正确无疑，爱情和友谊不可辜负。但那也只是在你我的歌声里。Cages or wings, which do you prefer? ask the birds. Fear Or Love, Baby, Don't Say The Answer. 不喜欢，别营销最佳歌舞片了，故事很无聊很烂，到后半段才渐入佳境了一丢丢…爱乐之城可以甩这个电影九条街。
林聚聚在电影里铺了很好的一段路。他没有试图进入音乐剧改编电影的怪圈，而是运用自己作为音乐剧作人的力量，把电影改编成了音乐剧。我看了很多音乐电影，多是用夸张和戏剧化的视觉表现去扩展音乐剧被舞台限制的想象力。但林聚聚一直把重心放在TTB上，放在乔纳森自己所讲述的故事上。我的感觉是花了两个小时看了一部新视角的TTB音乐剧。这种模式是我第一次见，也让我感觉特别新奇。
看到片尾那些乔纳森当年的片段 才发现加菲是真的好像他 导演为同志角色平添的颜色很闪耀 那竟是真正打动我的部分
开始觉得诶，音乐挺好听的，后来诶，那个女主长得挺像吉克隽逸，至于音乐剧其实是挺不容易有所感冒的，但不知为何看完最后一个音落竟然莫名有些感动。谁知道呢
穿越时空的对话QAQ lmm讲故事永远会用喷薄而出的丰沛真挚的情感把观众淹没，这种剧场和生活线串起来的讲述方式我也很喜欢，自然流畅也带有更多戏剧本身的张力。加菲的演绎太戳人了，数不清的彩蛋像是集体给宽街和剧院（桑爷爷）的一封情书。特别是看到结局就好希望Larson也能看到这部片啊。

又看完忘记标记了？我怎么记得标了啊，比同时看的另一部音乐剧改编好很多，用了很多电影的视听语言去加分！
虽然题材一般感兴趣，三十+没出人头地的困境也毫无共鸣，但加菲猫和lin-manuel诚意可嘉，agent说必须不停write write write扎心了…
