The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 某些人素质太差了吧，好多人都没看呢！就剧透！毛病啊…
为黑白滤镜和莫扎特安魂曲加一星。是我一直想看的那种温柔舅舅和奇怪小外甥的哲学公路片(？)穿插其中的大人采访各地小孩关于未来关于身份认同和其他思考的采访纪录很有意思。喜欢The Midnight Gospel式心灵对话播客的观众应该不会抵触这种叙事。舒缓平淡又有种娓娓道来的动人。最后滚字幕的时候也在放和小孩子们对谈可以继续坐着听，算是很贴心地给了大家默默流泪不用担心电影院突然亮灯一脸尴尬的余地。

不知所云和寡淡常有，但是始终能感觉到两个孤独的灵魂的挣扎和呐喊，最后彼此链接，得到疗愈，纪录片段中的移民者是对此极好的互文
好温柔的电影。透过成人和孩童的不同视角去看待世界，理解彼此。人与人之间的连接终究是美好的。Joaquin的表演太自然了，他的台词都无比舒服~
與短篇前作《I Am Easy To Find》的創作方向相近，戲中訪問部份更可呼應導演紀錄片舊作《Paperboys》，或可溫暖人心的簡單創作。印象中這是Joaquin Phoenix 第一次在銀幕上成為「爸爸」角色，演過充滿戾氣《Joker》之後，擔起這Part-time 爸爸角色，與Woody Norman的對手戲令他氣質也變得不一樣，是的，電影大多時候依靠Joaquin 和Woody之間對話進行，錄音和姊姊找老公都是其次，Joaquin 和Woody 正是上演一場疫情後的《Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance:》，關於生命中的不安，如何面對、如何抉擇、說這是通俗化（雖然他的形式上接近Essay Film)《The Human Voice》也無不可，借由聲音讓自己和世界連結。喜歡其中一段話（大約）「fuck the word ，you can yelling, you can angry, Actually, you can be dissatisfied with the world。」
剧情真的好紧凑啊啊啊啊 这配乐可以封神了！！！一定要去音响好的的厅！！！
