The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 热血爽片，真人真事。

太理想化童话化了以致于现实更刺痛了，挺好的但我看完会想要世界毁灭（我的问题）
挺好的，好过这几年的几部(点名批评外星人那部)，梗也有感动也有，追求菁英让我想起小新日常番有一集，风间因为考试失败被补习班的“朋友”嫌弃，拉了裤子还淋雨，最后被小新和美伢捡回家(受伤的总是风间难道是因为他的破绽太多了吗？)
又是真人真事！部落人的悲惨遭遇令人发指！幸好是1995年的事了。手法很平实，为作者的正义感给五星。
男人娶了个有骨气的妻子，女人嫁了个有骨气的丈夫，最后她也没有放弃他，而他也真的为她盖了房子……表面上杰伊比姆是这个电影的主角，但更让人内心汹涌的是女主，她没有任何背景可以支持自己去对抗权威，但她却没有害怕，也没有受诱惑，无数个节点她都可能放弃而撤诉，但她没有。正因为她，这个案件得以存在，让我们看到了人性最原始却也最耀眼的光辉。
果然是最近几年最棒的一部剧场版，好热血，fire，青春！“青春是，曾经拥有；青春是，就是当下”

其实警察大半夜来告诉女主她老公逃狱
满怀热情和希望，观影2小时40分钟，虽然有虐的部分，但结局很圆满，正义得到了伸张，朕心甚安。他们有不计报酬，只为正义而战的律师，有不出卖良心，秉公调查案件的警察，更重要的有公平执法的法官，何其幸运。据说这是一部真实事件背景的影片，禁不住琢磨，如果换一块土壤，结局还会是如此吗？
一般吧，剧情转折太突兀，不是蜡笔小新风格的突兀，而是真的生硬，比起以前的剧场版差了很多，只能说一般
即使是戏仿，推理故事的导入序章也太长了，从系列经典矛盾之一的A级对B级、精英对庶民的防卫队友情主题映射出更具普世性也更类型化的青春校园故事，最后再以两人和解（稳定的新风）作结，不过整体还是感觉有点拘束感。
为什么古有焚书坑儒，因为这是切断“贱民”向上流动或保障权益的唯一途径。我快进了很多，但真实经历的人没法快进，血淋淋的现实不容快进。
过誉之作，题材好、底层故事好，跟电影好完全是两码事。用这种浮夸bgm+略带中二的方式呈现这么沉重的题材，个人接受无能。电影表达也板正平庸，没什么可说的，白白浪费一个好题材，甚至可以说是拍得相当肤浅，流于表面。
大俗却有大爱，令人感动的电影具有强大的力量。
逼迫自己快速成长、争取最优秀名额的风间和一如既往耍赖躺平拒绝成为超级精英的小新，仿佛是现实中一个普通人社会性要求和自我逃避的两面。还不错，但无法超越《涂鸦王国和约四勇士》。臭屁的风间非常可爱～
如果是儿童向那可以说是很优秀了，电影的格局并不局限于此。在青春的主线里掺进去大量话题但是没有说教味，该教育意义的地方有，该搞笑的地方也有，作为春日部防卫队为主角的故事五个人的部分都有侧重，一定程度上算是比较丰富了。屁屁永远是蜡笔小新系列的核心元素之一，百试不爽，间谍和不准方辟王国那一集也是屁屁。 故事的结尾风间的内心话直面了一个非常重要的问题——如果以后分道扬镳了，以前的美好都会失去那怎么办？影片的答案是借着小新之口给出了一个“享受当下”的价值观。虽然受限于篇幅，讨论仅此而已，但蜡笔小新系列首次涉及这个主题我仍然有些惊喜的。
这几年之中相当不错的蜡笔小新剧场版！而且是原创的
虽然这样说很狭隘，但每多看一部印度片，就越希望离那片可怕的土地远一点。是真的从心底发怵。
