The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 6.6/10。1990s印度：主线是低种姓男主一家因种姓歧视而被恶警当作一起「政客珠宝失窃案」的替罪羊折磨，以及正义律师为男主辩护并获得成功。在这起案件的叙事过程中也揭露了低种姓因种姓歧视而被恶警各种当替罪羊的社会现象。总的来说故事有点意思（虽然律师被脸谱化且反派被强行降智），视听上则是很标准的陈词滥调（叙事节奏明显被过量歌舞和一些无关紧要的支线剧情拖慢）。

按照国产片这几年的尿性，很可能本片会被翻拍，然后背景基本又是泰国，然后还要被吹上天。真是滑稽。
坚持看了一个小时，实在太慢，而且不是毒打不就是尖叫，现实纵然残忍不公正，影片应该是有节制的。

司法独立很重要，不然完全没地方说理。但是有了制度，如果参与制度运行的人良心都叫狗吃了，制度也起不了作用。

这放在全世界都可以通用的故事模式，但某朝是不能拍的。就连维权律师也被赶尽杀绝。本片里男主居然不被人暗杀，可以说是一大败笔，至少应该有幕后黑手们商议要不要干掉这个棘手的家伙，不用车祸不用意外，就给他按个罪名炮制一个莫须有的案子把他送牢里就行。
因为在现实里，我看到太多有一点点小权，就作恶的人类。
没有想象的优秀，还是一贯的宝莱坞作风，黑白分明。
