The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 20220603，单一场景的佳作，剧情转换再转换合情合理；谈笑间樯橹灰飞烟灭，最后5分钟，左青龙右白虎，7分。
越美好的过去，回味起来反而越心酸。对过去的怀念，遗憾，师傅的照顾与教导，都会被时间裹挟着冲淡。
剧情其实有刻意设计的地方，但结局还是不错的。
一个精彩绝伦的计划一出自导自演的戏，把所有人都蒙在鼓里，一个人沉默的欣赏着也在表演着。
ps.门胁麦跳舞真好看。
满满的师徒爱，拍得很好，节奏，结构，演员的表演也很棒。北野武导演的名字如雷贯耳，原来他还是漫才大师，突然有兴趣去看他的电影了。
我说实话，很久没有一部电影看哭了……师傅死的时候，让我想到了《兹山鱼谱》，那种师生情太让人肃然了……
精妙的剧本和演技，这个故事可以发生在裁缝铺、铁匠铺、糕点铺、理发店、咖啡店、木工店、烧烤店、奶茶店、螺蛳粉店、手机贴膜店、按摩店——合称「工匠精神」系列。
老马和Johnny flynn再度合体。很适合舞台剧，这种戏对老马来说没什么挑战度。
短小但不够精悍，前50分钟比较乏味。后续的故事，也颇有种为反转而反转的意味，因为老头的计划达成得太顺利，显得黑帮很蠢。最后又翻出老头的真实身份，固然很帅，但有些画蛇添足。

蛮精巧的小成本电影，不过有个bug：爱尔兰帮的高层都被一锅端了，法国帮应该没必要再来求购录音带了吧？
3.5/5 密闭空间话剧电影，叙事和多重反转完全依靠台词，有点太话剧而削弱了悬疑的紧张感。如果剧本能再打磨，精简一下台词的话会更符合电影的节奏。MR的演技撑起了整部片。
