The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 花和人都会遇到各种各样的不幸，但是生命的长河是无止境的。
很燃！编剧和导演带有明显的偏向，把三位MK战士塑造的弱势又强大，暴力又正义！但这是根据真实事件改编的，一分真实四分改编，为自由而战没错，但就真实事件而言，三位主角远没有电影塑造的完美～但凡挟持人质相关的电影，多多少少都会展示斯德哥尔摩症候群，本片也不例外～自由，对普通人，从古至今，都是最贵的！

就因为目的换成了释放曼德拉，所有人开始支持他了除了上校，就。。。很突兀
建立在谎言之上的形象，都是假象。
总体还行，在商业属性达标的基础上，也完成了政治诉求，一些细节的设计够用心，但作曲水平过于低下，高潮片段配乐劣质且不符合基调，强行拉低观感，6.5。
影片很长，很真实的男同性恋现状，一边生气一边无奈。“如果有一个喜欢百合的男神，有一个喜欢bl的女神，那是不是就没有对错之分了。”爱没有对错，同性恋也没有。
自由的代价是“生命的一切”。故事很精彩，描绘了南非一群为了理想和正义而战斗、牺牲的战士和英雄，同时也展示了殖民主义、种族主义分子的偏狭残忍。

米国严重的赤裸的种族歧视，深度唤醒有色人种内心深处的对自由的向往，对人权的向往。偏执己见的往往是那些自恃清高手握生杀大权的人。
又是同性悲苦情调老一套，这苦还不是一般的苦，而是fantasy的苦，作出来的苦
最后一幕拍的真好。whats the price of freedom? everything.

自由不是免费的。
其实改编的不错，虽然三个人人物设计有所重合，但是整体上各个人以及各个人的角色产生了一定的平衡，只有平衡才能让事件情节完整地推进下去并使得屏幕里的这场劫持让人相信。
