The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 一个地处非洲最南端之地，被活生生打造成了白人城，为了民族自由而斗。
柔化的光线和取景进一步中和了内容的严肃性,增强了可看性。人物关系的叙述取舍得当，以简洁的方式将纯的众多关系网络完整化，为纯和三浦的主线发展留有了充足的叙事空间。基本上属于中规中矩的好。
困惑期的故事看完总是觉得疲惫和无聊，看剧时内心反应也会是“这没必要、没必要”“这也是大可不必”

拥护信仰没有对错，但如果是存在对不同信仰的排他性，而在追求信仰的过程中滥杀无辜，就是罪恶的。
看到三分之二的时候愣是给爷整笑了。就这么放走了警察整个行动的头头？这智商也是没谁了。每个人的动机都不明，此片充分证明了南非电影水平和中国在同一个水平线。
