The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 《无依之地》，如果没有潜在的感情线，追随自由和死去的丈夫的约定，就更像人一生的荒芜了。
夕阳与清晨中广阔无垠的平原风景，山脉、森林与荒原，在摄影上与带着悲伤基调的配乐将人物内心表现得淋漓尽致。
片子拍的克制，情绪在风景与眼神间流转，孤独又浪漫。

善意，勇敢，真诚，认真地对待爱，执着地热爱自由，这是一个充满生命力的世界。不是对抗这个世界，而是生活在里面往前走，走自己的节奏。
画面很有质感，可能是年纪大了，越来越看不得这些揭露人间惨痛现实的电影了
