The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 之前说的“史诗级”的烂片其实有些言过其实了，本片充其量也就是毫无营养，毫无感情的一部同质化超英罢了，一小时四十分钟的内容感觉没讲什么事情，脸谱化的反派自然也是阅后即忘的那种类型。
好家伙看个超英片还要这么考究，特效只会做这种飞溅的颜料吗
贼烂，虽然是暗夜博士，你用不用在黑夜里演动作片还要把光线调的贼暗，你索性关灯放个mp3让大家脑补打斗不就结了么？要么就是残影特效，要么就是黑灯瞎火啥也看不见，看个漫威改编片结果看了个寂寞。

怎么说呢？主角团和配角团的互动都没啥大问题，但是逻辑方面真的存在着天坑一般的漏洞，莫比亚斯的反英雄角色过于唐突，感觉导演把莫比亚斯拍成了一个大善人了。
反派没有合理铺垫，动作戏仓促结束，甚至我怀怀疑中间被剪了几个小时，整部片给我的感觉就是急吼吼

杰瑞德·莱托真的跟超英电影有些不搭诶，这次的大主角从剧本本身上就问题多多，编剧和导演为我们贡献了两个单薄的吸血鬼形象，一切情节的推动都是那样的莫名其妙，给演员进行表演展示的空间小到可怜，我是谁，我在哪，我要干嘛，这三个问题还没搞清楚，反派就已经死了，女主就死而复生了，男主也稀里糊涂地见到了小蜘蛛1的岳父飞鹰，这就算见到小蜘蛛，你们连前因后果都说不明白吧，索尼准备单干，那也没必要学漫威摆烂吧……

2.5。技能特效做的挺酷炫的，环境人物的反应失真。但凡什么警察啊雇佣兵的反应像个真实的人，故事就可以三颗星了。
把期待值放得超低倒是开开心心看完了，想起了小时候痴迷于黑夜传说的时代哈哈哈
和毒液一脉相承的无脑快速节奏，但连毒液那还可以笑一下的基情戏都没有，诞生了这部除了特效外完全是超级过时的电影。不过如果要比烂的话，我仍然觉得《月球陨落》才更烂，而这片只是无聊到没法起劲而已。

情结老套，但观影感还可以。最近几年全世界烂片辈出，这种垃圾环境下，只能降低下限打分了（根据这个时代的质量打分），不然全是一分也就失去点评的意义了。
行吧，漫威作为一个品牌，已经发展出自己的超能力了。超级催眠。
当暗夜博士窜上那么高的房顶时，范迪塞尔的小弟竟然能够赶得上，他是开的车上楼顶的吗？ 乏善可陈的电影里最惊艳的就是女主角，可惜戏份也并不多。最后……新“蝙蝠侠”偶遇旧蝙蝠侠，可是一个是有超能力的，一个是……新秃鹫……
看完SOHO再看这个，真怕马特斯密斯穿上西装就跳起来，老渣男阴影挥之不去
