The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 观影过程中我内心戏好多，以下为节选：
什么几把电影卧槽，感觉就是用冰血暴的镜头弄出了一堆看似意义深刻却一点内容都没有的2小时，还tm不如看一部景区宣传片。后面他来到那个树人的洞里那一段开始我真的崩不住了，睡了过去，导演吃屎吧，这部电影吃屎吧。
告别死者，告诉故人，告别的同时也有反思与怀念，反思过去，反思历史，反思将来。黑白与色彩，各种历史视频、影片资料的交叉融入再现解构之妙，结尾段落令人动容，也深含反思殖民的意味。

低齡兒童向，典型的美式套路。如果不是被困在斷電斷網的雪夜，大概率是看不下去的。
前面皮兰德娄的骨灰运输过程太让人焦虑了，反倒显得后面钉子的故事异常轻盈，没有多少炫技的地方，但总有种莫名的缺憾在心中挥散不去，我坐在黑暗的房间里，看着被风不断吹起的窗帘，小溪坐在地上看着我，哦还有窗外飘来的钢琴声，就那样停滞了几分钟，时间也不过如此。
最终主旨也就是个成长故事

空洞的花活纯属自废武功，高不成低不就之典范。
借作家死后归乡之旅以及多个文本，来表达导演自己的告别，情绪很满，有时候超出了内容本身。归乡部分描述了战后意大利的社会百态和情感归宿，情緖不至于空乏没有着落。最后的《钉子》，继续在精神上（包含合作）对逝去表态，完成告别。
被劫掠被请求被诱惑
在探讨如今缺失的骑士精神到底是什么，故事整体偏神话逻辑，就是莫名其妙人就上路了。在可预料的故事走向下，导演还是延续了鬼魅浮生的部分精髓，拍的很美又很诡谲，宗教感和奇幻性做得很棒
