The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 那个大姐说的对，写自己熟悉的东西才能引起共鸣，不落俗套的歌舞片，看着各种转场衔接有点儿跳脱，回想起来却是很感动，大概就是音乐和艺术的魅力，以及加菲真是个宝藏男孩啊，没想到！

音符此起彼伏还有快速变更的画面非常流畅，三层结构的创作形式不停地输出一首又一首歌曲反而让剧作失去了节奏，真的真的会让人感到审美疲劳，尽管加菲的表演真诚热烈，但这个故事并不打动人心，即使叙事的材料有九十年代初的伤痛——酷儿苦难和艾滋病，有天才艺术家亘古不变的贫穷与现实辩题，有普通人和天才的选择分歧，最终导演给观众提炼出来的122min还是一个俗套的作品，感觉热情似火却毫无余温。

像是和哎嘛石头的某种隔空共舞，奈何歌曲实在是不怎么抓我。
相对没那么跌宕起伏的故事，换来的是可以全身心投入到传记所展示的对音乐、对生活毫无保留的热忱中去。音乐很好听，融合得很好，也没有喧宾夺主。有关susan的歌曲绝佳。
过分戏剧化，隐隐约约能看到很多好莱坞传记片的影子。但真情实感被感动，眼泪不值钱。音乐也是真好听。
