The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. a24的片子真是越来越难以下咽，故作高深、虚声靡靡、全是自以为的概念加上一点点视觉冲击力，感觉这样下去离倒闭也不远了…

被影片的真实和残酷震撼到了，暗喻做得非常好，是一部女权觉醒的表主权影片，很不错
摄影和音效很绝，一人分饰多角的设定，以及最后一层层剥离躯壳的视觉冲击也是极强了。表达的意思有点不明，但看的还是很震撼。

Alex Garland’s movie style really amazes me, he filmed the british countryside so beautifully. Wanna visa the forest of dean to see the tunnel now. Rory Kinnear got range, he can act every fucking thing, even a new born baby. Jessi Buckley is like made for these kind of movies. we lived under the patriarchy for so long. That birth scene.

前半部分气氛控制了特别好，虽然看的一知半解，但是对于男女性别之间的解读还是比较清楚的。导演是一个非常热爱自然的人，好感度up！
宗教符号和隐喻很多，艺术又cult，血腥又古典优美。是女性可能遇到的所有困境了。

男性导演拍恐男片总给人一种略显刻意的违和感
蠢直蠢直的。加兰视听水平不差，但文本满足于简化，不去呈现复杂性反而搞些极大条的东西出来，一直想学塔可夫斯基但画虎不成反类了犬。从《湮灭》到现在，只能说是条不求甚解的邪路。
森林铁路段落拍的挺引人入胜，剩下的桥段就几乎都是为了概念落实成单一明确指向而进行的疯狂忙碌了。
