The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 虽然讲的是逐梦演艺圈的故事，但融入了奔三焦虑话题，所以也可以跟普通观众建立联系。LMM自己的音乐剧被别人导演舞美做得华丽，自己导演别人的故事却能做到不追求浮华、选择最适合故事的表现形式。Andrew Garfield演得很好，希望明年奥斯卡能拿个提名。
