The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 比起剧集《北海鲸梦》，这部就差了好多呢，不管是剧情还是画面都逊色很多。但它展示了一种不安分的坚持。
……《逍遥法外》里面那个感染者gay怎么跑这里来了，好久不见，Oliver。还有男主朋友是人五吧😅感觉好像
改编自一百年前的真实事件。两个探险家为了找到格陵兰岛是一个整体岛屿的证据，深入北极腹地。经历千辛万苦证据找到了，可是返回集合地时，船没了，此时距离他们独自上路已经过去了两百多天。还好，船离开之前给他们留下了足够的食物。于是他们在原地等待获救，一等就又是六百多天。等待的过程比较平淡，除了船长精神分裂产生幻觉之外。整部电影都太平淡了，虽然改编自真实事件，但还是可以设计一些戏剧冲突强烈的桥段的，不然就会看得人昏昏欲睡。不够精彩。
