The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 主旋律电影，和《长津湖》差不多，自己吹嘘自己
比起《黑寡妇》来这部片子是更有趣的，剧情也说的过来
前半部是拯救飞行员尼古拉，后半部是飞机钢铁是怎样炼成的
米沙死得真冤，最后一步就是活着的英雄了，起身干嘛？
前半部很紧凑。结尾震惊了，这么多苏联英雄，截肢后继续开战斗机
真让我猜对了，看片时就在想这导演至少55岁以上，果然60岁了。真的是太老派了，好多年没看过叙事处理这么老派死板教条的电影了，比如让女主从路人口中听见男主残疾，比如好容易爬到目的地起身被射死，比如男主执行任务归来，众人起身注目致敬…… 这哪像是现在的电影？电视剧都不这么拍了。此外，空战场景、荒野求生也就是拍的还凑合，离“好”字差得远。
时刻告诉自己这是迪士尼乐园的广告片，不能用电影的标准来衡量……
我喜欢探险片。剧情但是没有什么新意
传统的探险/寻宝剧本，老牙已掉……外加公主救王子，王子救公主，爱上吻一吻…加上反派会魔法……这也，太迪士尼…………小孩应该都不爱看这些了吧～擦边gay内容算是迪士尼向非主流人群的妥协？但总体真的太套路……遇到特殊一年……估计院线回本不容易……

无脑低龄爆米花，巨石和艾米莉根本不来电，浪费了。
连续几天选电影失败（失败指没选合家欢的电影），选了这部，获得了一致好评！的确是轻松的爆米花大片，喜欢里面所有的谐音梗冷笑话，还穿插了进步独立女性争取自己权益的片段。
作为我最喜爱的动作明星之一，巨石强森已经逐渐退出我的热爱名单，他开始热衷社会和政治活动，参演风格也变成各种“正能量”片子，堪称美国爱国宣传片，这让他的电影变得千篇一律，人物风格刻板僵硬。感觉美国人看强森跟国人看X京差不多吧，国内或许仍有大量粉丝，跨国看真的越发无趣。
给予四分好评，虽然也属于苏联战争题材中规中矩的电影，体现一个民族一个国家主旋律的英雄精神，战争给人民带来的痛苦和灾难也是无法用语言表达。电影节奏感比较强，没有拖沓，故事情节的处理比较老道，情感故事采用插叙的方式，既不影响整个战争的时间线，同时把人物情感线丰富起来，战争的场景，尤其空战的镜头，比较真实，很多镜头都采用第一人称沉浸式，让观众有一种玩游戏的真实感。最后无论从战争场面还是电影的故事情节，都算是一部不错的电影。
