The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 用悬疑片的手法拍剧情片，有些部分有点怪怪的，但最后一个拥抱的情感分量很足。
内容叙事上近乎于超现实的爽片，核心立意却极为尖锐与高端，是勇气十足的商业作品。

这剧情不意外，甚至有些狗血，但女主角的演绎和风格处理还是挽回了不少。

弱势者的正义，没有人关心，如果想提出自己的要求，发出自己的声音，首先得变成强者。“觉醒的星期四”，哪有这回事啊，世界不会觉醒，人们依旧装聋作哑，印度如此，每个国家都如此。丰县没几天就消失了，调查结果呢，没有人关心。
即使有女总理、女警官，依旧不能保护女性公民，如此可悲讽刺的现实。
电影敢拍，现实还是一样残酷 ，感觉两个平行宇宙

最近两年印度各种觉醒的片子拍的都挺好
3星，这类社会题材，印度电影跟韩国电影一样，只能拍出来，现实很难解决实际问题，只能自我安慰。
