The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 比起《钛》在视觉上更丰富，但整部电影从内容到结构都近似于一个当代艺术馆——我觉得极媚虚无又高傲的东西。柯南伯格是一个对待概念极其粗暴但对待影像又如匠人般精细的导演。
怪异的未来，人体进化了，艺术也进化了，连性爱也进化了。蕾雅赛杜很美。

性、暴力、欲望，电影以及艺术无非就那么点事
剧情设定挺高级，幻想未来没有生理痛苦的人类。
以往能用来“作为方法”的其实无一例外都是“他者”，是借异质存在来反思自我，而“把自己作为方法”则意味着自己既是主体又是客体，是自我中包含了他者，并对这样一个多元自我拉开距离观察，这本身就需要一种极强的反思能力。
的，因此这种学说必然会把社会分成两部分。
陆陆续续看完了，我这低俗的品味，电影本身应该有些东西，但除了概念化真看不出别的了。
本片不但炫技，还秀思想。厉害

跟柯南伯格上世纪那一系列表现身体乃止精神异化的惊悚片相比还是有较大的差距，跟电影讨论的身体内外一样，就电影来说，电影的内在并没有像录影带谋杀案和变蝇人那样脊背发凉的感觉，外在方面也没有什么毛骨悚然的吓人场面，所以还是中规中矩
将人类的一切存在剥离到只剩下身体和器官的程度。
Inner beauty is no longer 内在美 but 内脏美。LifeFormWare的员工录影surgery的部分很lost highway。最惊艳的桥段是第一场手术。
