The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 好棒，通过孩子的视角讲述Space Program时代的世界，先是因为实拍转描动画这一形式点进来的，很像AMAZON的剧《Undone》，但却被故事或者说历史所吸引。

属于Linklater的私人影像，用影片来做串联的时间节点，私货满满又有趣。Linklater对于少年时代的时代记忆的讲述还是很驾轻就熟的，后面的平行剪辑也特别好，一部非常规的“科幻片”，挺喜欢。
