The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 天书奇谭最有趣一点：那聚宝盆可以凭空出爸爸，却不可以凭空出财富？财富都是从四乡八镇老百姓家搜刮来的。这一设定，就把叙事视角从单纯的道德警示（贪婪无度）延展到了社会经济意识形态（财富分配）……
看了很多遍.喜欢.那个年轻的女狐狸精真美,声音也动人.

从利用仙姑的方式看，府尹确实水平高啊...很好看的一部动画
令人奇怪的是，在当年那个人们思想观念比较禁锢的时代里，上美能创造出如此多卓越的作品，而在“自由”的今天，我们却很难再创造出如此富有民族特色的作品。或许这是市场经济的影响，但是我认为，更重要的原因还是因为我们丢了一些重要的东西
抱着看“国货精品”的期望去看，画面和音乐是很用心，配音极具时代感，但剧情……反正我很有意见！没想到是个悲情结局，蛋生抱着被铁链捆住的袁公时，鼻子一酸，最笨的神仙最深明大义。
那时候拍这种带着浓厚“反封建反官僚”味道的动画是很普遍的，也才会出现这么有意味的戛然而止、带着崇高性和悲剧色彩的结局，如今怎么敢这么拍，美其名曰怕孩子们看不懂，其实是权力象征转向了，那时还好说自己是老奶奶那一帮的，现在却会被观者想象成是县太爷、小皇帝一帮的。

又刷了一遍，还是好。结尾收的太急，里面的背景和人物设定可以借鉴，很有趣的故事，中国有完整的一脉神怪传统，现在断了。
