The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 南非从曼德拉接手后迅速沦为三流国家，政治方面不用多说了。这片3个人在银行劫持人质，跟警方谈判，各种摆烂，完全没有啥新意。一小时40分钟，太长，我是没看完就弃了。
困惑期的故事看完总是觉得疲惫和无聊，看剧时内心反应也会是“这没必要、没必要”“这也是大可不必”

不错的片子，甚至不需要艺术加工，能把真实事件完整据实地拍出来就已经足够了。

历史剧，解放曼德拉的之战，虽是恐袭演变的银行劫案，人性和种族自由的抗争以悲剧结束。穿插一场告密游戏。

电影版画面很唯美、故事讲的也很好；
看到三分之二的时候愣是给爷整笑了。就这么放走了警察整个行动的头头？这智商也是没谁了。每个人的动机都不明，此片充分证明了南非电影水平和中国在同一个水平线。
根据上世纪八十年代发生于南非的真实银行人质劫持案改编。影片整体上还拍得比较流畅，尤其是开头的几个追逐镜头，场景调度非常到位，一气呵成。此案件并非简单的刑事案件，实则是有着强烈的政治背景，劫犯是南非反种族隔离的黑人，提出的条件是释放曼德拉。导演处理起来有些左右为难，既想将这起张力十足的案件拍得好看，又得兼具其政治背景，在剧情中加入许多政治元素，竭力向着有历史感的政治性影片方向引。此片后面显得有些松懈，逻辑上也出现问题，最后喊起了口号。

自由的代价是“生命的一切”。故事很精彩，描绘了南非一群为了理想和正义而战斗、牺牲的战士和英雄，同时也展示了殖民主义、种族主义分子的偏狭残忍。
