低配版《拾穗者》，1. unfortunately dwelling on kinship rather than after kinship；2. 太靠音乐藏拙。Frances很擅长weird and stubborn的角色。看不出来女主角到底迷茫还是不迷茫，要还是不要什么。
慢慢的成纪录片式的展开美国中西部的普通人故事。我也是从一个矿业小镇出来的，如今很久没有回去了。

看到Fern处理掉回忆里所有不舍得丢弃的物品这段，她回到和Po以前的家，后窗有一大片荒地，直到远处的山脚下。我在想，人存在世上的价值到底是什么。
当一个人同时失去了家人和家园时会体验到的孤独，公路旅途也是探索生命意义的路途，关于丧失与疗愈、羁绊与放手、关于生死。其实片中涉及的每一种问题和状态都让人不忍去触碰和细思，但导演不仅有勇气触碰，而且处理得极为克制，哀而不伤，灰凉中又有光亮。
以纪录片的呈现为外套，其核心仍是主流片女主的情感线——流浪疗愈，渴望家庭，专情配偶。跟同名非虚构小说不是一回事情，但看得出华人导演很希望融入美国社会。

正如片中的游牧群体，忙忙碌碌一生，没能够安享晚年，回归常态也不见得是天伦之“乐”。《无依之地》被赋予了我们常说的诗意。弗恩并非无家可归，而是心无所属，其意义在于与人生伴侣的连接，带着牵挂，看淡。★★★★/8.6/*2

女主在别人眼里看似窘迫的公路生活，在习惯漂泊的人眼里，有着自己的孤傲与浪漫。让我想起《猜火车》里的那段经典台词，生活中就是有人不想买他妈的大电视，而选择不停地在路上，看群山，看飞鸟，looking ahead, to the day you die.
孤独深处，苍凉的西部、公路色彩影片，这种迷茫和无依其实非常符合当下的美国社会现状。赵婷真的棒，作为外来者，能在自己的头几部长片就把握了现阶段美国精神的精髓，并且招募到如此优秀的演员和团队。Fern念的那首莎翁十四行诗恰好是我最喜爱的一首。

【补标】210612 太像了太像了，哭不出来，因为太像了。这就是我现在的生活，只是我比女主多了房间，却少了自由。美国电影拍摄流程就鲜少出现欧洲片的灵性，因为设计感太重，很多“灵气”都是在导演充分创作自由的情况下现场发挥的，所有镜头设计好，拉一票工作人员流水线式拍摄模式，往往就少点神来之笔。
