剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it?     个人很喜欢这个故事，很多场景太熟悉了，深深怀疑导演是不是art school出身的。利物浦移植到芝加哥毫不违和，那个Carbini-Green的场景和英国20世纪前50年的底层街区好像。这部和《索命咒》一样，都是喊话茄子人（说喊话亚裔的真拿自己当回事儿啊）：你以为你混到上层就不受制度性歧视么，想多了（而且我敢打赌导演家庭本身和男主就是同一个阶层的，算内部觉醒吧）。这部还有一个想法很赞就是不是翻拍，而是同样在电影宇宙里把整个都市传说作为legacy传下去，92版的女主就是这里面那个研究者Helen Lyne，糖果人则是同一个人。而且稍微能get到一点导演的逆反心理：你们白人流行影视文化有超英做legacy，我们黑人就用恐怖故事人物好了，谁叫你们拍出来的都是汤姆叔叔那种人畜无害型的
