The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 3.5，稍显沉闷，感觉他拍长片需要更丰富的信息含量构建能力，不然老是些重复的东西不断出现，不过影片的基调和人物的状态确实挺舒服，孩子的笃定深远和成年人的迷茫困惑，米尔斯对未来还是充满希望的

男人够慈祥和男孩够漂亮到何时都能凑一部亲情高分剧
高开低走的片子。完全浪费了菲尼克斯的主演。和众多亲子心理探索题材的片子相比并没能看到更多的新意。小男主的角色定位和表演都没能打动我。黑白画面非但不能加分还丧失细节。最近几部黑白都有这个问题。
好好看的“对话式”电影。黑白的纽约，好美好美。戏中那些反反复复的采访，同样的问题，那么多的回答，我看到了“希望”。这些孩子，他们想的好深刻。小男孩虽然不幸，但他好幸福，他的情感，小情绪，都有人重视。
3.5。文字引用+真实采访+虚构故事，相当私人相当惬意相当孤独的一部电影，只是不明白为什么翻译成这个片名，和内容完全不搭。
看似平淡但却无比真挚的叔侄感情，黑白色调选的太好了，纪录片导演受到姐姐的委托照顾自己的儿子，叔侄在相处中不断破冰，叔叔告诉了侄子他和孩子姐姐关系看似不好的原因，以及孩子父亲的挣扎，最令人动容的时刻莫过于小孩要被送回家向叔叔道歉，和母亲来接他的不舍。影片还引入了许多问题，而儿童的回答却很有深度，令人深思儿童的视角，太喜欢小男主了。

补标（舒舒服服看完的一部：黑白却不沉闷，各自有各自的困境，却都能在鼓起劲儿后的主动交际中渐渐开阔起来；既然孩子们眼中的世界还能神奇又多少含有希望，也许应该暂时闭上眼换个角度去看看～
