The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 如果宇宙的终极规则是“熵”,即一切都会走向灭亡，片子中形形色色的畸形怪物和各种反常理的东西也就说得通了；在这里时间没有任何意义，宇宙和人类只是疯神打发时间的调剂。从令人作呕的场景来看这个“宇宙”已经存在很久很久了，似乎也已经开始走向混乱与无序，也许毁灭也只是时间的问题。
完全放弃剧情编排，只有符号化的叙事碎片疯狂堆积，比场景本身更肮脏残忍的深层意向，从艺术的角度来说足以载入影史。

像和某这样的一神，肯定是大规模蛮族入侵和征服的结果，一神的背后是血流成河、杀人如麻，它们先是靠杀人来普及信仰，后来信仰本身就成了杀人的理由，一神是人类精神的怪胎，是这个世界的灾星。
通过一个看似混沌不清的故事，实则让多种理念相互缠绕，继而生发出更为宏大的主题。蒂贝特用自身极富特色的影像语言，试图去演绎哲学上的三大终极问题：是谁？来自哪里？要到哪里去？
或许，它仅仅只是想表达痛苦，我们存活于世间这肮脏的痛苦。
不知道制作者花了多少时间做出了这么一堆垃圾，真是可悲。
过于怪诞诡恶难服众口，或许确有其高明之处但不向大众推荐，低分劝退
