Arkham, 1975: Jonathan Davis' father has disappeared. His tracks lead to Germany, to the Swabian-Franconian Forest where he was stationed after the Second World War. brutashell review - 'Filmed in black and white and primarily spoken in German, it is obvious that Die Farbe did not have a huge budget to work with. Effects are minimal and the cast is utterly unknown. I should point out that these are all good things, and work very much in the film's favour. There is no CGI to rely on, no name actors to carry it. Rather, the filmmakers do the unthinkable: they create a genuine atmosphere of unimaginable dread and unspeakable horror, using shadow, suggestion and rare splashes of that Nameless colour in a few select frames. In short, they did a damn good job. Die Farbe is subtle in its mounting horror, nurturing a dark dread deep in your bowels with every shot. All of the best and most stomach-turningly distressing films I’ve ever seen have come out of Germany: M, The Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari, The White Ribbon, and now this one. Leave it to the Germans. We know how to gross you out on the deepest psychological levels.
Lovecraft worshippers and devotees of German Expressionism alike, take heed: seek out and view this film at your earliest possible convenience. It’s a dark, noisome little gem that will squirm into your subconscious and lay its eggs in your sanity. Hey, not everyone gets the honour of being a host organism for the Elder Gods, you know.'
叔侄二人的日常交流和对青少年的采访都是观人观己的过程，成人和孩童其实并没有那么界限分明，这是个蛮有趣的角度。又用到了Éthiopiques 21: Piano Solo里的曲子，上一次好像是《波尔图》，平添一丝温柔趣味。
什么是normal？对于孩子的问题的理解是对于自身的成长的回忆，互相的提醒，互相的成就。
还挺喜欢处理冲突记忆的镜头，把声音抹去，覆盖上当下的平静的叙述声音，再把镜头慢慢拉近拉远，像极了我自己跟回忆和解的方式。
风也温柔。
Could be an urban prose, a nostalgic tale, a coming-of-age story, or mostly a sincere record of the intangible/invisible around our lives. 走走停停，兜兜转转，c’mon c’mon是向前看时候的一次深呼吸。
电影是以Johnny采访各处孩子对未来的定义和解读作为穿起电影的线索，很有纪录片真实的感觉，当然，导演只是借孩子们的口，表达他的观点。我们的未来会好吗？
断断续续看了很多天
大龄舅与幼童甥的差异、沟通和情感，用黑白色调展现，很有味道。摄影不错。
必须5星，为对待孩子，们的态度。影片角度放这么低，完全令人吃惊。

8.1/通过叔叔与侄子的短暂相处来重新审视语言与情感，而电影通过纪录片与记叙片的切换来重审倾听/表述的重要性 - 短信/阅读/电话/对话/采访 - 去了解自己和他人最好的方式。电影通过slow pan & slow zoom & melancholic music & black and white来艺术化的表现可能却徒增了一些不必要的boredom。

关于男主一直在进行的采访未成年人这条线也非常的有意义，这些小孩拥有远超年龄的智慧他们所说的话都堪称箴言金句，他们所讲述的关于人生关于个人关于社会关于世界的内容不管是大的还是小的议题都能对答如流。

当Johnny在录音的最后说出“I'll remind you of everything”时，所有的浪潮声都回到我的脑海中。
2022年4月27日，The Projector。看得挺感动的，就大都市生活人与人之间还是需要相互理解。以及即使不是熊孩子但生养下一代的精神消耗还是巨大的。
3.虽然但是，小屁孩是真不好带，看了这个电影，谨慎生孩子，这孩子还算好的，但是经看得让人有点生气了，有些熊孩子更甚，so，带孩子是真不容易，生个孩子并把ta带大是对社会最大的贡献，国家应该予以有力支持。
老迈克你好厉害/华金菲尼克斯太有魅力/杰西的妈妈一出来我就在想这是谁来着，看到三分之二终于让我给想起来了，是《衰姐们》里面那个孕妇，剧情记不太清了，跟司机好像是姐弟吧/小男孩演得很不错，黑白质感不知道是掩盖了他表演上的一些缺点还是弱化了一些精彩/一如既往的好剧本，老迈克到底有多少阅读量？为什么如此精准地能写出来这么多高质量的台词然后通过演员之口表述？/“即使我很爱你，我也不会知道全部关于你的一切，你也不会知道所有关于我的一切”
我应该如何面对自己的孩子，如何和他坦诚的沟通，没有答案，但我很是感动
