The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 当生活被灾难按下了暂停键，内心的某些地方会变得不同，也许是感恩生活，也许是增加仇恨。没有人在灾难中一无所获。台上的演员高矮胖瘦都有，岛民和乘客身份随时切换，非常出彩。
一开始是很感动，现在这个时候再看“世界人民大团结”的电影，难免鼻子发酸，希望地球村依然是可以想象的。再后来是难过，时代的沙砾掉在个人头上可能就是毁天灭地的陨石。最后是沮丧，看他们纪念10周年，在想我们有没有机会这样纪念什么社会事件？
作为音乐剧倒是没有给我印象特别深的歌曲（机长姐姐的Me and the sky好听！），剧情也比较一般，主要是当年的真实事件很令人感动。在灾难面前，人们确实没办法忍受一直看新闻，而是会想在自己有资源的时候互相帮助，这是不分种族性向甚至动物权益的（穆斯林在那之后确实备受影响）。
因女机长的独白而入坑。前阵疫情的额济纳旗小县城，和剧中的小镇多么相像！

真切感受到百老汇和国产音乐剧之间的差距...
感动的无以复加！在北美小镇上生活过真的是能够理解每一个细节，每次有人要我描述那个地方，我都称之为世外桃源——每个人都认识每个人，十年间的犯罪率为0，一切温暖与爱都是理所当然给你的。小时候不懂这些东西的珍贵，现在明白了。
音符旋律以及愛是超越文字、種族、意識形態的存在
节奏很好，角色塑造得也很好，设定很巧，能这么有趣确实意料之外，没打五星是因为旋律没戳中我，个人喜好。。。
太好哭了。不论来自哪里 情感还是所向披靡（天才大礼包这个戏是 情感浓度过高了呜哇————
一个时代创伤被用这么温柔温暖的笔触抚慰 大哭一场的同时也感觉被治愈了
这是人类互助的时刻，这是悲伤的时刻，这也是欣慰的时刻。
听了无数遍album之后终于在Apple TV里看了。感动！

看似很美式主旋律，但就是能够被这样人性的光辉所感动。

紧凑的编排让观众游走于焦虑，亢奋和崩溃的状态之间。

很不错，音乐剧总是从始至终调动气氛，维持着舞台的充盈。
