The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 第一次看舞台剧 ，而且居然还是在网上。刚看的时候眼花缭乱有点接受不了，看到后来感动地不行。里面地真情实感，比电影震撼多了。
头一天看了一部本土爱国主义舞台剧，然后这么一对比……好的更好了，差的就不说了。基本上就是我们和世界的差距吧。
来自陌生人的温暖看完真的很快乐，每次看完歌舞片都会有这样的感觉。中间失去了儿子的那个大妈唱功是最好的我觉得
同样是救灾，同样是绝望，同样是与世隔绝，但纽芬兰让人像个人
密集的台词和唱段、动听的旋律、热闹的舞步、简洁炫目的舞美、缤纷的笑料和点到为止的感人瞬间，百老汇太强了。女机长的solo曲目Me and the Sky进入单曲循环。
2021上映，刚好在疫情期间，又是“911”20周年，演出这样一幕剧再合适不过。来自不同地方讲着不同语言的人，因为怀有同样的普遍的人类的情感而得以相聚相惜。
最精彩的无疑是女机长的自白之歌。还是挺感动的，但作为一部音乐剧，说话太多歌曲太少，然后每个演员都担任好几个角色稍微有些混乱。还可以吧，但没什么惊艳之处。
911的20周年，因疫情擦肩而过的Come from away巡演，在此时完成。我还去查了一下纽芬兰岛的位置。希望能早日回归原版剧场

几年前在某站看过字幕组版本，官摄版本的力量感又上一层，我全程感慨“有音乐剧真好”。疫情时代，这样守望相助的故事就显得更加珍贵。非常喜欢。「Be anxious for nothing. 应当一无挂虑。」

百老汇音乐剧果真不同凡响，从舞台设计、场景切换、光影效果到台词音乐都无可挑剔，女机长简直太酷！如果说上周刚看过的《转折点》试图拼接起正面的历史，这部音乐剧算是另辟蹊径地挽起一朵火焰，照耀出那段时光的影子。唯此空前绝后的经历方可配得上传奇人生，我亦多么渴望有一天坐在不明方向不知终点的航班上，将我可怜可笑又可叹的故事说与你听……
