The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 传统的复仇故事，北欧人的原始硬核暴力，导演独有的神秘宗教风格。目前我最能接受的一部罗伯特艾格斯作品。
故事很老套，但画面很漂亮，男帅女靓肉体极度养眼，最后一场决战雄性之美溢出屏幕，而且安雅这算是正式接了妮可的班，金发天仙后继有人了。
还是更喜欢钛。作为被柯南伯格启蒙过“新身体新人类”的自来水看到汗毛林林的个人风格再现时还是要倒吸一口冷气！

就是太糙了，不管是文本还是影像上，越到后面越看不出140分钟的必要性。
看预告片还以为要往好莱坞爆米花的路上走，结果片子居然尽最大程度地保持了罗伯特艾格斯神秘、野蛮与诗性的个人风格。制片方也是心大，9千万美元让罗伯特这么玩儿，肯定亏成狗，就当为提升大众审美与院线片逼格做贡献了，也算功德一件。摄影真是吊炸天，瓦尔基里真就艾尔登法环真人版了。
类生物元素只是表现的躯壳，内核形式更接近于《大都会》、《星图》那一类。人体与器官的剖切成了近未来人性的溯源点，相伴成人骄横的的方寸人心里，环境烙下了代价的图腾。
