The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 和想象中的不太一样。
一个还算好看的奇情故事，纨绔青春与怪咖女碰撞出的爱情火花，只属于那个特定的年代。多年以后如若再次相遇，不知你是否可还记得我。也许你和我都各自爱过对方，也许又都没有，但终究还是你，填满了我的那段疯狂岁月。
典型的小圈子自嗨片，可能导演和他的朋友们还觉得怪浪漫吧。基调似乎是想玩清新的，表现却是油得不行……男女主还丑得没话说，把一塌糊涂的影像效果带至冰点，很多时候选角作用真得大于表演啊……

不俗的视听语言所以是看着很享受很有意思的片子，说有意思其实又没什么意思的故事… （waterbed开幕那晚拍Alana看Gary, 出门安排两个外形相近的人在旁边，被骗到一次… 看窗户缝不给反打；councilman在饭店那个借一点镜像的绕圈long take；日剧跑很讲究screen direction，从追逐运动变成相遇运动了⋯是会二刷看电影语言的片子但故事编织不能算精细
关于奔跑这件事情，亚洲人跟适合，比如溺水小刀里的两位，西方人那笨拙的体型，跑起来没看到青春

PTA 的血色將至、大師曾令我歎為觀止，也私心偏愛私戀失調、乃至“混亂”的性本惡看著也很爽。甘草披薩節奏感舒服，不複雜的故事，不典型的人，但整個沉醉無法自拔的時代濾鏡，就很無聊。讓我很難不換一個視角揣測，如果我是一個洛杉磯美國人我會不會像討厭《芳華》一樣，討厭甘草披薩。
不错的小品，PTA只能怀旧了，他总喜欢拍几个关于青春性的搞笑镜头
