巴尔扎克的小说改编，画外音保持小说风格，故事疯狂，而且喜剧色彩出乎我的意料，一个对于出版社的反讽，而且保持资本本身“粗俗和活力”，显然作者站在资本一边，对于贵族是非常反感的，主角失败了，就是这样。
你有才华，你有梦想，现实需要你的才华，但不要你的梦想。怀揣着文学梦的单纯的人，因为生活放下自尊虚心求教，学着变坏，学着报复。最后还是要抱团，利益永远至上。但其实你还有才华，你曾经也有过了最美的爱情。大家爱的不是你的才华，当你的才华让别人害怕的时候才是才华也是很讽刺。男主轮廓好英俊。喜欢卡洛琳，夫人是好是坏到最后都没分清，或者只是自私吧，我以为很难看的文艺片，竟然意外很好看，都停不下来
放在当年，这部戏剧肯定很有洞见，但在今天，两个半小时很难熬。
Un film emportant, empalent, éblouissant de la mise en scène tout en ayant une voix musicale, remarquable. L’adaptation est à la fois moderne et historique. Une densité narrative est également incroyable. Bref, un film ambitieux, luxueux, poignant.

看完电影倒是对鸭鸣报名字的由来有所领悟，一个感受：要在世俗意义上活得有点尊严，有没有才华不要紧，有没有头脑才是关键，19世纪的法国是这样，现在亦如是。
复辟时期的巴黎这个宏大的历史画卷表现得非常迷人：剧院、报纸、出版人、富商、贵族、王室之间的各种勾当，寥寥几个场景就展现地一清二楚。对话非常辛辣（应该是巴尔扎克的功劳）让人印象深刻。此外导演应该是有意加了一些指射当下的元素吸引观众。
片如其名。空洞滥调。同意这是有声书而不是电影。
