The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 很好看也走心的类型片，完成度蛮高的，视听上一点不马虎，虽然剧本明显有一个套路，但拍的确实牵动人心，主要是节奏掌控很不错。这个剧本底子总想起《热天午后》，最后结尾想起《虎豹小霸王》。

米国严重的赤裸的种族歧视，深度唤醒有色人种内心深处的对自由的向往，对人权的向往。偏执己见的往往是那些自恃清高手握生杀大权的人。
非常舒服的视角和节奏，看到最后还很感动。山田杏奈以后专门演LGBT题材的电影吧，太适合了！
结尾出现了，根据真实事件改编，所以司法部长的女儿真的被射杀了？
看完就记住了一个台词：“自由的代价是什么，一切” 搭配《漫漫自由路》服用，效果感人。
