The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 在演出又被疫情取消的晚上看完了2020年因为疫情被取消的CFA。我真的太久没看过global视角+充满diversity的引进剧了…泪点很多，最戳我心的还是Me and the Sky。
bravo！这才是音乐剧！一个沉重的故事能够用诙谐幽默的曲调讲述最后又归为向上的生活，实在是演绎得太精彩！舞美？几乎零成本！导演编排得太妙！在有限的空间去呈现一座小镇在重大灾难下五天里无私的奉献！在灾难面前的团结总是那么令人动容！为什么我们的音乐剧无法去诙谐的缓解伤痛被？为什么伤痛总被刻意加深拷上镣铐无法再提及呢，这就是格局吧，好遗憾。歌也都好好听，泪目了都，喜欢！！

看完后，国内的音乐剧差的不是一点，唉～还怎么进剧场！！
音乐有感动人心的力量，甘德人真的都这么善良吗？我想以后去看看。
特别，特别，特别感动。愿所有善行都被铭记，并得到应有的回报。音乐本身不算出彩，绝大多数对白和歌曲节奏都偏快，虽然是为了营造紧张气氛，但如果有更多抒情旋律的适当调剂，整体感觉会更张驰有度。唯一印象深刻的歌是女机长的独唱，旋律优美，而且歌词特别励志。根据真人真事改编的故事线太有感染力了，数次泪目，如果改编成话剧或电影，可能也会出好作品。
这个真的好棒！短小精悍的一部戏里居然处理了这么多问题，而且讲得都足够有深度，情感上也到位……灾难确实是最适合展现人性光辉的场景，哪怕是浓鸡汤也不觉得俗气，还有这个舞台调度是真的绝啊，感叹了无数次，几把椅子、灯光变幻和最简单的换装，几秒钟就瞬间切换了场景和场景里的角色，非常流畅完全不出戏，实在太巧了，希望国内音乐剧编排能来学学

换一个角度纪念那场灾难
让灾难从一个抽象的事件变成一个可以触摸容易共情的事件
虽然电影的音效远没有现场表演来的有感染力，但是在镜头语言上得到了弥补…看完emo了一会儿，已经不记得上次进剧场是看了什么剧了😭
可惜因为疫情错过了现场观看的机会 这个角度切入这个故事的改编 真的让人无法释怀
So Canadian! 没能在多伦多看现场也要加入多伦多遗憾清单了。

本来想2020年五月回国看的，可惜一个疫情打乱了一切。机长和我的驾校教练长得太像，导致我时不时就跳戏XD
最感动的几个moment和唱段。他们铺起毯子开始祷告的一段。👮飞行员的唱段，Me and the Sky - Suddenly there's nothing in between me and the sky. ✈️ 返程飞机上的唱段，Somewhere in the middle of nowhere, you've found your heart and left a part of you behind. 💦 分别的唱段，Something’s missing. 👨🌾 岛民最后的唱段，Tonight we honor what was lost, but we also commemorate what we found.
