The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 很久没看到这么有趣的伪纪录电影，大胆反讽，低俗幽默，非常后现代精神。很惊喜的是几个场景的布置居然很用心。
片头的纪录片风格让我想起了小时候看过的苏联电影《蛇谷的诅咒》，给人一种强烈的神秘感印象；针对女主工作、生活遭遇的大篇幅叙事是不可或缺的精彩部分，增加了影片的戏剧冲突，甚至比惊悚部分更加出彩；结尾缺乏足够的交待就戛然而止，留给观众一定的想象空间，作为开放式结尾亦不算太坏，个人认为女主已经意识到了一个可怕的想法——通过献祭石盒子以拯救家人的性命。

最终外星BOSS那么恐怖的身躯却需在精神层面上的无所畏惧!而这个无所畏惧的女人却无法好好的在这个社会生活! 女权或者是隐喻？ 底层人民的挣扎！
有镜头被吓到，但是无头无尾不知道在讲些什么，而且镜头也太晃了，女主*话也太多了，感觉有点神智不清

前面看着觉得还可以，氛围营造的比较细腻，但随着故事的发展就觉得有点烦了，很多地方逻辑也不太通顺，看到最后对这个结尾也挺失望，感觉闷了口气在胸口，影片结束也没能释放。怪物造型不错，也就仅此而已吧。
前面略微缓慢，估计是想为轼母的女主黑化与否做铺垫，稍微有点无聊，后半段开始有趣起来，包括真相的解开，女主被捉，以及后来的反杀。给献祭仪式中出现的恶灵造型点个赞。

形式新颖但是剧情太松散了，感觉半小时就够了。20220626
太被低估了，惊悚和恐怖融合的特别好，可怕的不是鬼，而且是人。可怕的镜头不多，但是几个亮点特别精彩。
