The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 故事套路、人设和拍法都感觉有点古早，中规中矩吧没有想象的出彩～
“最后我要感谢我的九年级数学老师，他曾经告诉我我会一事无成，而现在他可以kiss my ass.”，很可爱的儿童片，叙事结构和角色设计非常经典，狗狗很可爱，但loser的英雄故事实在是my favorite，Emily她叔叔很有Roy（in it狂人）的即视感。其实情节有个很大的bug：Emily就养了狗狗不到一天就决定豁出自己的公寓啥啥的去救狗狗，I can get it but it’s quite weird?
也没有不好，就是低幼，弘扬接受差异和包容常识之外的东西

每一步都很妙，但是加在一起就显得莫名其妙。值得赞扬的是，没有安排女主角跟别人的感情戏，不然真的给一星。
唯一的看点就剩下大狗了……它很萌，但我现在终于意识到光靠萌是撑不起一部电影的。
如果拍成剧集会不会展开些。感觉太仓促。有看舞台剧的感觉。

挺治愈的一儿童片，再度让魔法和奇迹同时降临到纽约这座城市~用一个可爱的故事讲了个简单的道理：尊重个体差异性，并要不断让自己变强大。最后Emily在公园当着众人演讲的样子，真的很有魅力！
看得我心理不适……（不过里面zg形象不错）
