The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 纯粉丝向电影，对新观众来讲就是冗长平淡乏味的两个小时。
3.5 这集真的是合家欢。但是删了txl情节，没有txl情节的唐顿那还是唐顿吗？
可以一看，粉丝向，否则会觉得人物太多关系太乱。引入的戏剧冲突是到法国南部继承庄园，唐顿被租来拍电影，接下来是老太太当年的恋爱史、老爸的出身，电影向有声的转变、收音员编剧、导演跟大姐的情谊。算是大团圆结局吧，好多对儿有情人终成伴侣。大姐的毒舌，跟奶奶很像啊，也只有她有能力管好庄园。几年没看，都变化了好多，连孩子都这么大了。
太好看了，old money VS new money
明明知道只是粉丝的专属周边 剧情免不了水水 但居然还是被感动到；好喜欢Mr Barry 好开心他终于遇到了那个他
两年前自己一个人无奈之下买了情侣座看唐顿庄园，一对年过半百的恋人携手来看，对角色剧情非常熟悉，一看就是铁粉。当时的自己很羡慕这样的状态，当时的自己也没有料到两年后唐顿2时会遇到自己的另一半，跟他携手走进影院。时间真的会改变和疗愈一切，以及，没有电影的情人节是不完整的。
又一次和庄园一起经历了一些事情。金句频出且睿智幽默的老太也离大家而去。生命的更替就是如此，不舍也无奈。普通人的普通事，即使是住在大房子里也不例外。醉心的配色和迷人的风景，想念我的英伦，何时可以再去？
作为粉丝不可能不给满分，有笑有泪，充满温暖和感动，饱含期待和不舍，再一次告别。以婚礼开篇，以葬礼收尾，每个人都有更加美好的未来。老夫人安排好一切，终于还是离开了，到最后都是妙语连珠。爵爷为自己身世之谜，夫人为自己未知疾病，都是虚惊一场，仍然美好。Mary扛起所有，婚姻仍有缺憾，激情依旧存在。Edith重拾事业，Bertie默默支持。Branson和Lucy婚姻幸福，喜迎新生。Anna和Bates依然美满。Daisy和Andy小有烦恼，Patmore和Mason走到一起后便得圆满。Molesley喜提新事业，成功求婚Baxter。Thomas前情断，新缘结，踏上新旅途。Carson使命回归，Hughes继续操劳。不知道还有没有再见的机会，so farewell everyone。
大部分演员们都老了，可还是希望能长长久久拍下去。
穿着戏服岁月静好地过家家，那就好好告个别吧。试图在时间的灰尘里看到优雅。有些可以move on，可有些注定老去。新时代来了，不如适时停下，在破碎的时代来临前，葬礼与新生，或许是这个童话最好的结局
比第一部好 剧情还是有一点碎 精致精心 推动同性恋真的比登月球还重要的最近几年 。。。。
开头镜头扫过两边亲友席的时候眼泪都出来了55，全是曾经熟悉的面孔。看完六季是三年前的事了，唐顿是为数不多能让我又哭又笑的影视剧了。我将永远将你们铭记在心。你们的悲喜离合曾是我青春重要的一部分。
爱你，千万遍
依旧是看房子，看衣服，在宅子里拍电影，默片转有声电影这些戏份其实也没什么新鲜的，甚至有很多借鉴感，但毕竟看的大部分就是一个情怀和感觉。Thomas的情节反而比上一个电影还要少，但好歹给了个圆满的结局也不错，不过感觉基本上给所有人都圆了个结局，接下来应该不会再拍了。
再一次落幕，或许是终结篇了。因为我最爱的grandma仙逝了。她是我最喜欢的角色，曾贪恋过马修的颜，看姐几个相爱相杀，喜欢伯爵夫人的善良美丽，以及楼下的管家女佣们。但老太太的智慧幽默和指引风趣总让我想拥有一个同款奶奶，做人当做老太太，本集贡献了一句：我和伯爵结婚后，我不能再去见他（南法送别墅人），我怕把持不住自己，他是我见过最有魅力的人……
婚礼开场，葬礼结尾，最后还有新生。每个角色都好鲜活，唐家屯儿永远的神！

加入了迷影元素，却更像流水账了，连英式幽默和煽情都发挥失常。长沙万达解放
7分。已经完全忘了第一部讲啥。从婚礼开始，到葬礼结束。一次死亡，一次新生。再加上两条故事线交叉呈现，本片比第一部更有电影感，而且剧情也更有意思。一边是从天而降的别墅，六十年前的一段情，老爷的身世之谜，另一边是为了钱勉强答应电影剧组租楼拍摄，女星傲慢又粗俗，拍到一半拍不下去了，庄园里的人帮助导演完成拍摄任务。除了那个让人惋惜的离去外，整体还是欢乐祥和的。看得很快乐。只希望他们有钱了真的能修修屋顶。
所有的记忆都飘向了第一部上映的2019年，当时还是在香港看的，被粤语翻译的各种人名搞到头大。转眼，真应了A New Era，戏里戏外都在告别。
