The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 后半部分比前半部分处理的好，也舒服很多，虽有不足，但依旧是大陆华语电影需要的新力量，是可以被更多人看到的影像内容。
画面真是不错。故事不行。

这么个逆天的制作配上个毫无新意立场不明的故事，浪费
但…这声音听得我很难受…那个说喜欢白开水姑娘的男人一股巨大的棚味，没有一点环境音。这节奏不文艺也不商业，最后结尾一个时钟的声音就over了…开头这父亲形象如何构建呢…病情加重…母亲拒绝养老院…总之这剧本是放在学生毕设开题都会被毙的程度。
画面很美，果然还是有刀…可不可以游戏化，在东京废墟上跑酷的感觉一定很好吧

PYIFF 死亡没那么可怕，被死亡凌迟才可怕
剧本还是够劲爆的，但是其他地方乏善可陈。一部力求真实的电影说一些文艺过头的话实在太尬了，感觉梦境元素也有点强行添加的意思，不能给人一组很满足很饱满的情感共鸣和臆想。
无聊且生硬。

3.5星。总体来说，影片是一种渐入佳境的状态。写了阿兹海默症给一个家庭带来的惨重的痛苦，也有引发观众对生老病死的思考的东西。不少可以引起共鸣的很真实的场景。给片中表现情欲的场景和台词好评！给饰演夏建国的演员张鸿敬优秀细腻的表演好评！给超现实的结尾好评！
这个场景值得去电影院一看，就是这个剧情有点子供向
