The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 千里马与伯乐的故事不太新鲜，但因为篮球运动本身的激情与对抗，加上梦想主题加持，所以观看过程是愉悦的。桑德勒这几年戏路变得沉稳扎实，不再是过去那种屎尿屁演员，挑戏眼光也不错。

传统的美式体育类电影，客串的球星比较多，但剧情太过老套。
