The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 莎翁原版古英语，黑白光影加象征性场景，完全是电影版舞台剧。华盛顿影帝级表演完全消除了黑人麦克白的违和感，弑君前的踌躇不安，称帝后的躁动癫狂，预言后的自负狂妄转换自如，不亚于话剧大牌演员。唯一可惜上限于此，不如真正去舞台上表演一把。
这电影估计会在表演和摄影或者美术上拿奥奖提名。

通过服装的材质反射的光泽给黑白片加上了柔软度和舒适感。看完花絮才知道这个片子特效这么多，400多个特效镜头也算大制作。学院画面和黑白确实让人很集中在奥斯卡影帝们的表演上。
意外地缺乏冲击感，也许与节奏有关。动作编排或成最大亮点
对我来说只是科普了一下世界文学。 摄影美学，光影，都一流。
对于the original text和plot的绝对熟悉是本片最基础的观影门槛了, 而Macbeth作为（可能是）我最喜欢的Shakespeare作品，看到Denzel Washington和Fran McDormand飙戏就忍不住要打四星以上。选择黑白的影像呈现，Joel Coen这次在mise-en-scene上下足了功夫，无论是建筑环境还是光影变化，都透露出一种冷峻却疯狂的气质。除了很喜欢影片对于the witches的处理外，McDormand对于Lady Macbeth的处理确实让人有耳目一新的感觉，野心并不是那么的外放，狠辣却不减分毫，最后的sleep walking scene更是一种后窗式的解构，让人对她的表演欲罢不能。
极简的布景反而更衬演技 大量的独白不抓马也不违和 算是优质的改编了
演员们的演技令我叹为观止。
